Commercial vehicle and construction equipment finance — trucks, tippers, buses, JCBs, excavators and cranes, new or used.
Commercial vehicle and construction equipment finance is written against the earning power of the asset, not only against the balance sheet. FTM arranges funding for trucks, tippers, trailers, buses, tankers and light commercial vehicles, and for construction equipment such as JCB backhoe loaders, excavators, cranes, concrete pumps and road equipment — both new and used.
First-time buyers, first-time users and fleet operators are all funded, each on a different lender programme. Where an existing contract is running well, top-up funding and refinance on an owned vehicle can usually be arranged against the same asset.

Yes. First-time buyer and first-time user programmes exist precisely for this. A confirmed load contract, a guarantor with a track record, or a slightly higher margin usually makes the file workable.
On most chassis purchases the body-building and fabrication cost can be added to the funding, subject to the invoice and the lender’s overall loan-to-value cap.
